You ever wondered why heat pumps look blue or goldish (yellow) from the back? This the protection layers of the aluminum fins of the air exchanger. In Microwell we exclusively apply epoxy based GoldFin protection for all our products because it is just the best. GoldFin creates hydrophobic layer which repels water. In this case the heat pump in colder weather will freeze lot later than standard Bluefin and will defreeze itself faster than Bluefin. This will provide simply more heating. GoldFin is also superior in livelihood of the unit in salty air (coastal application) or sand. It will simply last longer.
In Microwell we understand that livelihood of a heat pump is key factor when deciding for its purchase. Titanium Grade 1 ASTM B265M consists of at least 99.2% titanium, with small amounts of oxygen, iron and other compounds (carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen) up to 0.8%. The low impurity levels contribute to its exceptional corrosion resistance. This material also leave no trace, no odor and is neutral to its environment. All Microwell heat pumps are equipped exclusively with this type of titanium in their water exchangers.

Each Microwell heat pump is designed to work with various kinds of water, including those treated with chlorine, salt, electrolysis, sulfur or UV. This is mainly thanks to exclusive Titanium Grade1 ASTM B265M titanium tube material used inside water heat exchanger. Standard stainless steel or copper exchangers used in domestic heat pumps would typically last 1 month in pool application with water treated by chlorine. With Microwell heat pump you can be sure that materials used are designed for long harmless operations.
RS-485, in the context of the Modbus communication protocol, is a widely used interface for industrial control systems and automation applications. RS-485 is a standard for serial communication that allows multiple devices to communicate with each other over long distances. Each Microwell pool heat pump is equipped with RS-485 port based on ModBus protocol. You can program the heat pump to be voice-controlled and also integrated into your smart house control system.
